The General Assembly of the Association for Cultural Studies 2024 will be held via email from May 20th to June 3rd. All members are invited to participate.
During the meeting, a report will be given on the activities that took place in 2023 and future activities of the Association will be discussed.
The preliminary agenda is as follows:
1) Opening of the Assembly
2) Appointment of the Chair of the Assembly, the recording secretary, two scrutinizers of the minutes and two counters of votes
3) Notification that the Assembly is valid and constitutes a quorum
4) Accepting the agenda of the Assembly and the minutes of the last meeting
5) Finances: The Assembly is presentes with the accounts, the Board’s annual report for 2023 and the auditor’s report
6) Confirming the account and giving discharge from liability to the Board and to others in charge
7) Action plan and speculative budget for 2024
8) Election of the auditor/vice auditor for 2025
9) Confirming Board Elections 2024 results
10) Updates on the upcoming conferences/institutes and Virtual Lecture Series
11) Other discussions
12) Closing of the Assembly
